Healthy Body, Healthy Employee: This session will focus on balance and will address questions such as, do you take time for yourself to eat well, workout, spend time with your family/friends, and have leisure time? Or are you always looking for your smartphone or saying you have too much work to do? Each participant will ultimately answer the questions, “how healthy am I?” and “How can I be healthier?”
Cooking Healthy for the busy professional: This session will focus on tools, ingredients, and techniques in making healthy meals for you and your family. FAST. Recipes will also be provided to help, and each participant will have strategies on how to overcome obstacles that prevent them from cooking/eating healthy. Not only will their waistlines thank you, so won’t their pocketbooks!
Fitting Fitness In at/with Work: This session will walk participants through exercises that will have significant impact on their health in less time. Exercises will be limited to 15 minutes or less. It’s all about the little things you can do during the day to add it in.
Food in the USA: This session focuses on the current state of health in the US, foods and lifestyle approaches that cause poor health, the effects of sugar on health and energy, how to make better food choices at work and at home, how to improve lifestyle including exercise and relaxation, and ways to efficiently take actions towards achieving goals.
Healthcare in the USA: This session focuses on our current healthcare system in the US. The limitations of western medicine and some of the “healthy” practices that actually make us sick. This workshop focuses on prevention, and how to recognize some of the dangers to your health, and what to do to prevent you from becoming a statistic.
Food Shopping 101: This session teaches participants how to read a nutritional label and what all of those ingredients you can’t pronounce really are. It talks about “processed” foods, what that is and how to identify it, along with what is “Organic”, and how to make informed choices that are healthy for you and your family.
Building Strength: This session is aimed at learning the benefits of strength training, safety guidelines and basic steps to get started at any age.
Financial Well Being: (Small steps to fiscal fitness) This session focuses on how financial wellness connects to overall well-being and what simple steps you can make to lay the foundation for a healthy financial future
